Prior to Starting AVR Consulting, Nick was the Queensland State Valuation Manager and National Public Sector Valuation Leader for a globally recognised Insurance Broker.

Until 2011 and prior to moving to Australia, he was the Managing Director of a UK based valuation and property consultancy that provided valuation services to Government entities and to a variety of National and International banks. In addition, he provided portfolio management and property transaction services.

He brings over 30 years of valuation and property experience to his role as Managing Director and has been a Certified Practising Valuer in Australia since 2012.

Nick’s areas of expertise are Property Valuation, Property Risk Consulting, Asset Management and Transaction Advisory.

Regan started his property career in Brisbane, before practicing as a valuer in both Perth and Sydney. He returned to Brisbane in 2022 and joined AVR Consulting as a Director in July 2023.

Previously, Regan has worked as a valuer for both a large globally recognised insurance broker and an asset advisory firm, providing him with a broad range of experience and knowledge, throughout the national property industry at all levels.

Regan has a wealth of experience in undertaking financial reporting valuations, insurance risk valuations and asset management plans across Australia and throughout various sectors. These include the three tiers of government, faith, education, healthcare, retail, heavy industry and commercial sectors.

Nick has over 10 years’ experience in the engineering and asset management industry.  He has been undertaking insurance and financial reporting valuations for the past 9 years throughout Australia along with various projects throughout New Zealand.

Nick’s expertise is in specialist insurance and financial reporting valuations of plant, equipment and infrastructure assets. He is a member of the Institute of Engineers Australia and The Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia (IPWEA).
